It is a one-panel strip, with no recurring characters. Rather it is done in the style of the much-missed The Far Side with each comic being just a random joke or musing on something weird about life.

I would pass out myself at the sight of a needle like that!
Granted, the strip isn't as consistently funny as The Far Side used to be, but it has it's moments.
