My wife and I caught this very short film on FUSE TV the other night, right before watching 1978's "Halloween" again.
It freaked my wife out, but I loved it! Unexpected and shocking, yet well done. It hits just the right notes and wastes no time getting there, coming in under 10 minutes long!
CAUTION: This is not going to be for everyone! If you don't like unnerving, unsettling or shocking movies, this little one might not be for you.

Spider is from 2007 and was written by Nash Edgerton and David Michôd, and directed by Edgerton, who stars as Jack, with Mirrah Foulkes as Jill. It has won a lot of awards, which are well deserved, in my opinion.

ReplyDeleteNice little Aussie film that was a Tropfest entry a couple of years ago. Nash and Joel Edgerton are well known here as actors and film makers. And trust me, I always pull down the visor before taking off . . this happens with real spiders! Well not the consequence bit but . . .
