So, this hit the web with a bang yesterday:
A Nightmare on Elm Street in HD
Looks good, I suppose. Lots of nods to the original film.
I think Jackie Earle Haley is a great choice for Freddy Krueger. He needs to be different that Robert Englund's Freddy, and it appears he has achieved that.
A Nightmare on Elm Street is due in theaters April 30, 2010.

Okay, well that's not something I should've watched at the butt crack of dawn, all by myself, while it's raining. EEEP!
ReplyDeleteI like the look of the new Freddy, but the chasing the pre-burnt mortal Freddy into the boiler room scenes were a bit weird. I think it was the superman moment when he rips his jacket off to revel the striped sweater. A bit too super-freddy I think...
ReplyDeleteyikes. i remember the nightmares from this as a kid...
ReplyDeleteMy favorite!I cannot watch the trailer now,my son is in my arms, but i definitely would like to see what they have done with the remake!Nice one!
ReplyDeleteF#$%ing awesome!
ReplyDeleteI'm a bit squeamish for the full screen I think. Love the new header is that the winner or a good contender?
ReplyDeleteDoesn't look too bad. I haven't been a huge fan of these Michael Bay produced remakes, but they are usually worth a dvd rental.
ReplyDeleteThat looks awesome! I loved the original! GO YANKS!
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting. A fan of the original. And not a fan of Michael Bay. I would rather have another sequel than a remake.
