A Nightmare on Elm Street remake trailer

So, this hit the web with a bang yesterday:

A Nightmare on Elm Street in HD

Looks good, I suppose. Lots of nods to the original film.

I think Jackie Earle Haley is a great choice for Freddy Krueger. He needs to be different that Robert Englund's Freddy, and it appears he has achieved that.

A Nightmare on Elm Street is due in theaters April 30, 2010.

  1. Okay, well that's not something I should've watched at the butt crack of dawn, all by myself, while it's raining. EEEP!

  2. I like the look of the new Freddy, but the chasing the pre-burnt mortal Freddy into the boiler room scenes were a bit weird. I think it was the superman moment when he rips his jacket off to revel the striped sweater. A bit too super-freddy I think...

  5. I'm a bit squeamish for the full screen I think. Love the new header is that the winner or a good contender?

  6. Doesn't look too bad. I haven't been a huge fan of these Michael Bay produced remakes, but they are usually worth a dvd rental.

  8. Thanks for posting. A fan of the original. And not a fan of Michael Bay. I would rather have another sequel than a remake.
